Ingredients
- 1 cup plant-based milk
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon of plant-based margarine
- 8 bread slices of about 1/2 inch think
- 1 1/2 cup of sliced strawberries
- maple sirup
- vanilla plant-based yogourt
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the milk, cinnamon, salt and vanilla extract.
- Place the bread slices in the mixture and let them soak in. Let the excess drain.
- In a frying pan, heat 1/4 tablespoon of margarine over medium heat.
- Place the slices of bread in the pan and cook them for about 3 minutes per side or until golden brown. Repeat step 3 and 4 with the other slices.
- When ready to serve, garnish the French toast with strawberries, maple syrup, yogourt, and sliced almonds.
